This question is a little difficult to answer since every pet is different but yes, you may want to try one of the more advanced puzzles. Keep in mind that any puzzle you purchase he will likely figure out and then learn the pattern quickly. You may try finding a group of other dog lovers and ask about rotating puzzles which will help stimulation. You may also try using a kibble dispensing ball which will keep him busy moving it around to get the kibble to come out. If you haven't tried stuffing the Kong with kibble, then smear peanut butter (xylitol free) to seal the end and then freeze it, try that. It will last a little longer. Smart dogs often benefit from daily exercise and advanced training. Here is a link with some helpful ideas to fight boredom: https://www.petcoach.co/article/10-ways-to-stimulate-your-dog-s-brain/ I hope this helps.

My favorite rawhide chews are sold through a company called Raw Feeding Miami (www.rawfeedingmiami.com). They have large, very durable rawhide rolls that are all-natural and made without any chemicals or artificial processing. They're quite thick and last a long time, even for big dogs - I would highly recommend giving them a try if you're looking for a good rawhide for Buddy :)

The best training treats are ones that your dog really loves and that can be broken into very small treats. This is especially important with a small dog like Bella. I have used and really like Wellness Soft Puppy Bites and Fruitables. This article also mentions a couple of other small and soft chews that would work well for Bella. https://www.rover.com/blog/favorite-healthy-dog-training-treats/ Good luck! I hope that was helpful. I am sorry to hear about Loki! Border Collies are highly intelligent dogs that are bred for intensive jobs so it is possible he is bored and trying to entertain himself. I would consider looking into getting him into some classes such as agility if you have the time/they are offered in your area. In the meantime I would look into getting some puzzle feeder toys. There are many options available online and at pet stores https://www.petco.com/category/dog/dog-toys/interactive-dog-toys/dog-puzzle-toys-and-games and they can provide some intellectual stimulation for these highly intelligent dogs!

Hi there, Ingestion tennis ball pieces could certainly cause a problem. This behavior unfortunately isn't likely to change. I would try switching to the KONG balls. They are like tennis balls but she won't be able to destroy them, and that will keep her safe. I hope that helps. Thanks for using Pet Coach!
