Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! While hydroxyzine is an antihistamine commonly used for allergies and might cause mild sedation in dogs, it is unlikely to resolve Hunter’s separation anxiety. I recommend trying positive reinforcement, providing distractions, or even using calming supplements for dogs or a product known as a “thundershirt” prior to resorting to medications. You should consult with your vet regarding any medications you may want to give to Hunter to confirm that there will be no interactions with anything he is currently taking and that the dose is appropriate for his size.

Hello. You can try Zylkene ( httpe://www,vetoquinolusa.com ) or ProPlan calming care ( https://www.proplanveterinarydiets.com/products/calming-care-dog-probiotic-supplement/ ). Hope one of these is helpful for Hachi. Thanks for using PetCoach.

Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I'm sorry to hear about Kimmie's skin issues, but your veterinarian is correct in recommending this diet trial. You may be able to order the food through Chewy.com for cheaper than other places. They often have discounts for your first order, which can be really great. I would not change the diet your veterinarian prescribed, as this will defeat the purpose of the diet trial! I hope this is helpful!

Hello, and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Poor Kylo, that skin looks pretty uncomfortable! Unfortunately in order to prescribe medication we are legally required to have examined the animal to establish a “vet-client-patient relationship” so we cannot call in prescriptions with online consults. You will need to touch base with your regular vet to get Kylo’s medication.

Chewy would need to be examined by a veterinarian in order to prescribe any medication. Set up an appointment for a general check up with a local veterinarian. During the apt, you can can discuss medications to relieve anxiety or stop vomiting/drooling if needed. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
