Would reptaid help for a baby sulucta tortoise which I think has runny nose syndrome?
It may provide an immune system boost and could stimulate the appetite which is important in a sick pet. Personally, I think the claims it makes as an "antibiotic" may be a bit thin. You can try it for a day or two, but if you don't see an improvement, have Tart examined by your veterinarian for a definitive diagnosis and an appropriate treatment.

This could be due to a vitamin A deficiency. Be sure to feed a balanced diet and supplement with a powdered multi vitamin dusted onto food. If this doesn't help, see your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles to diagnose illness or injury. Try to get the humidity down to between 40% and 60%. Maintain the humid hides at the levels described.

If you post another question with images of Nala and Simba attached, we can possibly identify the species. This would make it easier for us to provide correct care information. In general, aquatic turtles need: a tank, clean water, a submersible heater, an area out of the water for basking, a heat source, a UVB light source and proper food. Two babies will be fine in a 10 gallon tank for now (20 gallons would be better), but as they grow, so their tank must grow. Ideally, you want to provide 10 gallons of water per inch of turtle as a general guideline. This means you may be looking at a 100 gallon tank or larger when they are full grown.Please don't release them into the wild after reading that! The water level should be no deeper than twice the length of their shells. That will increase as they grow and become adept swimmers. Most species do well in water that is kept about 80 F. You can soak him several times weekly in a warm 50/50 mix of water and unflavored PediaLyte for 20 minutes. This will provide hydration and may warm him if he is cold. Check Temps and humidity in his enclosure. Low Temps can affect activity in reptiles. Since he is a "new" pet, consider an exam with your veterinarian or an experienced herp vet to confirm good health or to diagnose and treat any preexisting conditions. Submit a stool sample to diagnose intestinal parasites. This species frequently burrows, so that aspect of his behavior is normal. My baby turtle won’t eat. I️ got him food from petco that’s made for baby turtles and he hasn’t touched it. Not sure what to do.
Offer a varied diet including pelleted food, fresh greens and prey such as tiny crickets or earthworms. You can get prey from the pet store, do not feed wild caught insects. It may take a day or two for him to acclimate to his new environment. Keep offering fresh food daily. Be sure environmental parameters are appropriate for the species of turtle you have. This includes adequate heat, UVB lighting and water quality. If you know the species, post it in a new question or request a consultation for more detailed care information.
