It's just designed to appear to humans. Brands of food that I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro Plan, and Iams (Eukanuba). I recommend these brands because they run their own food trials, meet AAFCO feeding standards, and have veterinary nutritionists on staff. They are the only four brands that have these things. I feed my dog Iams and she loves it.

Hello. You have quite a very handsome group of pups! The best dog foods most vets will recommend are those made by Purina, Hill's Science Diet & Royal Canin. I personally feed mine Purina One True Instincts. These may not be the very cheapest foods out there, but they are definitely more reasonable than the incredibly high priced boutique foods which are no better than the basics. Hope your guys do well & thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Hello, this seems to be a food made in Germany. I would read the product label to ensure it meets the minimum requirements set by AAFCO for dry dog food either for maintenance or for growth. As long as the product bag states thats it meets these requirements, then it it a good dog food. There are plenty of brands that are formulated to feed the AAFCO requirements. Some are more expensive and perhaps of better quality if they are made with specific ingredients. Some lower cost brands can be made with by-products or meals which are likely of lesser quality. I hope this helps and best of luck.

Real Nature seems to be a very high quality food, it is not one i am familiar with but the ingredient list is quite impressive. if he is doing well on this brand i would probably stick with it. other excelent options include Orijen, Acana and taste of the wild.

Great question! Puppies should not need supplements as long as they are on a quality, balanced food. I am not sure what foods are available in Ghana, but I like Royal Canin, Purina One, Iams, or Science Diet/Hills. These diets are tested and their ingredients have the balanced vitamins and minerals Fierce needs. Make sure you are feeding a Large Breed Puppy formula until she is about 1 year of age. The bag will tell you how much to feed daily based on her age and weight. If you are training with treats, make sure she is still getting her recommended about of dog food and not too many treats. Good luck and kisses to Fierce!
