I think an underground fence or an electric fence that has a home base (see link below) might be the best solution. Petsafe is a good company who makes these products. It shouldn’t scare her further away but it should keep her inside the boundaries. I would keep the level on low to keep her from becoming scared to go in the yard. This is the safest thing to prevent her from getting out and either getting lost or injured. There is also a GPS tracking device for the collar called whistle that you can use to keep up with her if she still gets out. I hope this helps. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/petsafe-wireless-instant-fence-pet-containment-system?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&adpos=1o3&scid=scplp692131&sc_intid=692131&cm_mmc=PLA-GG-_-PTC_P_SUP_PLA-GG_FY17_SCShopping-Mobile-_-Non+VIP-_-92700026257943398&kwid=p26257943398&device=m&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjtH4nPzz1wIVh4WzCh05bAl_EAQYAyABEgJ1sfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

No problem! Yeah just fill that Kong up! Presumably puppies can have “off” days just like we can. Also they are very smart. To be honest, she now knows that you’ll let her out of her run if she gives the signal that she has to potty. She’s going to use that to try and get out of her run to play because I’m guessing you let her out every time she does that. If she is actually going potty every time, of course let her out but if she isn’t, don’t buy her act. If she normally goes potty every 3-4 hours and just went potty 20 minutes ago, she might be a liar. Consider ignoring her for an hour. The run is perfectly fine as long as you keep stuff that can’t be chewed out of there!

For his age the time he spends at a stretch in a crate is fine. You're doing a great job with making sure he gets out to go potty and exercise. When he's at the park, make sure he plays hard and gets tired, so throw the ball or run with him to make sure he gets tired. Making sure he gets plenty of exercise will ensure a little destructive behavior as possible, since a tired dog is a happy dog. Get him some kind of toy to keep him occupied in his crate as well. Kong toys are fantastic, they offer heavy-duty chewing and can also be thrown for him to fetch, dogs will even entertain themselves with a Kong toy by dropping it, the shape makes it bounce erratically. In time, he may be able to come out of the crate as he comes to understand that you will come back to him.

More and more people are allowing dogs to be in their house with them, but dogs sleep about 14 hours a day, so it really doesn't matter where they are during those 14 hours. They key is to have the remaining 10 hours involve good quality time. Depending on the dog, that may involve walks, playing with toys, playing with other dogs, or playing with humans. If you have having behavior problems with Edgar because he seems bored, then I would certainly try to find ways to stimulate him more either inside or outside his cage. One thing that people think of first is treats that keep them busy for a longer period of time. You can use long lasting treats like a Kong filled with peanut butter, yogurt, treats, etc and frozen so it takes longer for him to eat. My dog also really like Bully Sticks which I also freeze to make them last a little longer. Keep him mentally and physically busy during meal times. I love using a feeding balls like a Buster Cube or Tricky Treat ball to feed meals in

It seems she might need a small kennel. There should only be enough room for her to stand up and turn a complete circle. Any other room then they tend to soil in one area and lay in another so they do not get dirty. Puppies tend to get distracted easily and may find playing and exploring outside more important than going to the bathroom. I would start taking her out on leash and staying close by you reward her with treats as she goes in the correct place.
