If you think Cotton Ball is in need of an antibiotic for a infection, I would recommend having him examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate antibiotic can be recommended. My 25lb dog's clindamycin and tramadol doses doubled. Is it safe?
The dose for clindamycin is within the normal dose range, and the dose for tramadol is also within the normal dose range. You can ask your vet why they upped the doses for Chewy, but they are safe. I hope this helps.
