Everytime i change my bettas water (full water changes once a week) i fill it with tap and make sure its about the same temperature as the water he is swimming in then i just put him back in his bowl. I have never used water conditioner. Should i?
Yes, tap water may contain chlorine or chloramine. Either can be toxic. Chlorine will dissipate if water is left out for 24-48 hours. This is called aging. Chloramines (used by many municipal water systems) will not dissipate and must be removed chemically with a water conditioner. StressCoat by API or NovAqua Plus by Kordon are both adequate conditioners. Look in the aquarium section of the local Petco or fish store for them.

How to do clean water which fill in aquarium if doesn't have water conditioner?
Fresh tap water can be left sitting over night and any chlorine in the water will evaporate. It can then be used for your tank. Depending on the type of fish you have you should adjust pH and hardness of the water and of course temperature. Your local pet store can help you with that.

All of my fish died after using a product purchased at Petco called ACUREL-F. How do I get their water safe to put in new fish?
I would recommend to have the water completely changed. New water should be ideally submitted for quality testing. Most pet stores will do this for free or a nominal fee. High ammonia levels, PH imbalances may be responsible for that as well. Oxygen concentration and quality of the filters should be determined as well. Can I use anti ich and anti chlorine in turtle aquarium? I have 2 red eared sliders
You shouldn't need anti ich medication for your sliders. The water conditioner (anti chlorine) is always a good idea if you use water from a municipal source. My personal preference for water conditioners are AmQuel Plus, NovAqua and StressCoat. You can purchase them online or in the local pet store. If you have an activated carbon filter insert, remove it or it will filter out the medication. Confirm adequate water quality and chemistry since both can impact health and healing. Consider adding a broad spectrum antibiotic to treat infection. You can purchase products such as Kanaplex or Maracyn in the aquarium section of the local pet or fish store. Follow label directions carefully. Plain aquarium salt (NOT table or Epsom salt) can be used at 1 teaspoon per gallon of water to reduce stress and aid in recovery.
