What do I need to buy for my new 1-month-old kitten at Petco?

Congratulations!! I would recommend making sure you get kitten appropriate toys, two litter boxes and kitten food. At 1 month of age I would recommend a wet kitten food. I would also recommend clumping litter for her. You can always get her other fun stuff like a soft bed for her. I would hold off on any treats until she gets used to her new home. How much is a cat at Petco? What supplies do I need & will it scratch?

Hello. The cats & kittens offered at Petco are actually managed by individual rescue groups. Prices will differ from rescue to rescue. All cats can do well if they are played with & fussed over once you get home. Can they get into trouble & sometimes make a mess? Absolutely. If you do not want hair & dander & kitty litter tracked all over the house, you should not have a pet. Cats may need to have their claws trimmed ( NOT REMOVED ) & plenty of opportunities to exercise their claws, otherwise they will scratch your furniture, moldings & walls. You will need different types of scratching surfaces, plenty of toys, a water & food dish, litter box ( or 2 ), & lots of patience. All cats are individuals, so when you go looking to adopt a cat, take your family & give yourself plenty of time to spend with your potential pet, & ask lots of questions about them. Where can I get affordable vaccines for my new kitten at Petco?

I suggest you take Shadow to one of the VETCO shot clinics inside of Petco stores. They can help you determine what vaccines he needs and they are low cost. Can I buy K9 Advantix for my small dog at Petco for flea prevention?

I'm not sure if they do or not - in the United States, it's available at most pet stores and even some large, "general" type stores like Walmart. I would suggest calling or visiting your nearest pet store and/or any large grocery stores in your area to see if they have it :)

What are the best flea and tick meds I can buy for my dog at Petco?

You can buy those products at Petco for Beaux. I would advise to only purchase Frontline or Advantix. I would not get anything cheaper than that. Be aware that these are still your best over the counter products but fleas are developing immunity to them. In general, the oral products like Simparica and Bravecto are the best.
