This is the ONLY Wet food my cat will eat and he absolutely loves it. We have tried every other type of turkey wet food from dozens of brands and nothing meets his tastes apparently other than this one. Please never discontinue it or we'll have a very grumpy cat!!

My kitty loves these "petites". I have an issue with the packaging, as I find it hard to open. I have to use a small paring knife to cut open the container. I wish this was available in another type of container.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For almost 2 years now this one has been my cats favorite. He's a very picky eater but never turns down the turkey and sweet potato.

Little miss finicky decided she was bored with the food she had been eating, so I brought home a few options to see what she liked, and she dove into this and didn’t stop till it was gone! I also love that it comes in smaller portions, as my girl is a grazer. She likes to eat a little bit then come back later to eat some more. I was wasting so much food because her other food would sit and go bad. If I wasn’t around to dispose of it before it went bad, it would turn into a barf fest. So I waste way less food with these smaller portions.

My cat loves this food and won’t eat other wet foods. So I’m excited to have found one she will eat. But she can’t ever finish a container because the tub is so narrow and rocks around on any surface, and she won’t eat it from a bowl or plate (plus the benefit of the snap and serve option was to be able to feed her directly from the container). Also, it is ridiculously difficult to open. When snapping the tubs apart, sometimes both end up with the foil torn, meaning I have to serve both or refrigerate one, which is stressful because she won’t eat two at once and also won’t eat food that’s been refrigerated (even if warmed)- and I can’t safely warm it in the container, as far as I know. When feeling the foil off, I often cut my fingers to the point of bleeding. Yesterday, three or four of my fingers bled for hours after peeling off the foil, and the cuts reopened when I served another container this morning and had to peel the foil off of that (I need to find some appropriately sized band-aids- yesterday was a blizzard, so I couldn’t drive to get some and only had pet first aid kits on hand). I know my cat is an obligate carnivore, but I’d prefer not to feed her my blood (that’s a joke). I do worry about the risk of getting blood inside the container, which is clearly unsanitary, and I also just prefer to avoid the sensation and infection risks of having my hands covered in cuts covered in puréed turkey. The edges of the tub itself are also a little sharp, which makes me nervous when my cat eats out of it, but it hasn’t ever cut her. Even when peeling off the foil doesn’t cut me, it does get the food all over my hands, which is somewhat unpleasant as a vegetarian and also just a human who doesn’t want wet cat food all over my hands, ideally (though that’s sometimes just kind of part of the cat parenting experience, I think lol), particularly as I am not in a room with a sink when serving her. I’m going to keep buying it until I can find something else she likes (as we are transitioning from dry food only to a mix of both- ideally mostly wet food). But if your cat will eat other foods, you might want to avoid the mess and injuries associated with this one. I do have some fine motor difficulties, so your experience may vary, but friends and family members who don’t have trouble with fine motor skills have had a lot of difficulty opening the tubs as well, even if they don’t hurt themselves in the process.

My cats do love this food but we have a very difficult time peeling off the foil top. We had to switch to pull top cans.
