My senior cat (14) stopped eating his regular dry cat food. I did try a couple new different kinds but he just wanted wet food. Now he seems to bore of that quickly so I have switching up brands. Is there a certain brand/flavor you recomend? I went from Friskies to Iams. Now he is eating Fancy Feast. I just don't know what's best to do.
Best low-carb wet food for cats?
I uaed to give fancy feast to my cat but I heard it's not actually very healthy, so what are som good and not too expensive wet food brands?
My cat is a 1&1/2, he started out throwing up the dry food, so I switch him to fancy feast salmon patted. So long period of time he would only throw up like twice a month maybe, I recently switched to 9 lives patted and he was fine for 2 weeks, now today he has throw up 3 times, in other words every time he has eaten. He is not spayed as of yet. Please help, I really don't have the money for taking him in to vet for them to run a lot of expensive tests.
Just asked about Tempest's farts, was told to go to a better quality food. Thing is, we have her on what I understand is a really good quality brand. Purina One True Instinct Natural Grain Free Chicken dry food, and Sheba Perfect Portions Pate and Cuts in Gravy for wet food. We feed her 2 scoops of dry in the morning, 4am-7am range, with 1 portion (1oz) of wet, usually she gets the dry to last until 5pm, and then we give her one dry scoop and one wet portion at about 9:30pm. Water always filled.
One of my cats eats any kind of food for about a week and then wants nothing to do with it. I have switched flavones and between dozens of premium canned food to freeze dried and it's the same story. I'm really tired of looking for food now. please help.
How much food does my cat need? She is 1 year old, weighs about 7.5 lbs, and runs around outside for several hours every day. I give her 2 cans of fancy feast and a little dry food (NOW or Merrick: both in kitten formula) every day. Her bowl is usually licked clean. Today I opened a 3rd can and she ate a little of it. Hi. Since Meow Mix dry cat food haven't been recalled yet, is it fine to feed my cat only 1 can of Fancy Feast and half cup of Meow Mix dry food? Will my cat can have UTI or kidney failure on that?
I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. I have 10 cats all ranging from 1-5 years of age. I have been feeding them wet/dry mix food. They are eating Purina one Urinary tract health in both wet and dry food. Is this ok to give them that kind in both wet and dry or should I consider mixing the Urinary health dry food with the Purina beyond wet food instead? Thank you
