Fill a clean, empty litter box with 3-4 inches of litter. Litter forms rock solid clumps on contact with urine and eliminates odors. Remove clumps and solid waste daily to keep the rest of litter fresh. Add more litter to replace what you have scooped out and maintain a depth of 3-4 inches. Once a month, empty the entire litter box. Dispose of used litter in trash. Do not flush or put in drains.

Is this litter scented?
- Hi, the arm and hammer litter that is marked multiple Cats formula is not scented. My cats don’t like the scent so this is great for them and it really does cover the smell better than most other letters even though it’s a little on the pricey side, but I find I don’t have to replace the litter as often as the cheaper stuff either because it clumps well.

I got a automatic cat box. How dose it work with them.? Does the clumps stay together?

Can you flush it down the toilet?
- No....terrible idea. I wouldn't flush anything other than toilet paper and waste in the toilet. Litter will likely clog up your system.
