Smells VERY strong - I only used a small amount on the carpet and vacuumed it up and the whole room smelled super strongly. I ended up putting an air purifier in the room and using our carpet wet vac to actually clean the carpets to try to make sure I got all of the powder out. It still smells lightly after the wet vac and air purifier running for 6 hours. While it says fragrances and fragrance allergens on the box, I’m not typically sensitive to fragrances - but this time it was so strong I couldn’t stand it. Be careful if you are sensitive to fragrances or even just strong smells.

This stuff smells awful and the smell won't go away one week later! I am afraid we have ruined our carpet and will need to replace it.

Terrific. The scent of urine from potty-training my two puppies was pervasive. I read good reviews about Arm & Hammer Carpet & Room Pet Fresh Odor Eliminator, bought it at Petco, followed the directions (sprinkle, wait 15 minutes, and vacuum), and poof - urine scent was gone.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My Overall Opinion Of This Product Is It Is Amazingly Awesome For Many Uses In My Home . We Have Two Dogs And Two Adult Cats . It Helps Eliminates All The Animal Smells From Our Carpet . And The Litter Boxes .

Is it harmful to pets if ingested? Say if they like their pays after the carpet has been treated

    I have used this product many times; I usually go over the carpet multiple times just to make sure I got everything. I have never had problems with my cat walking on it and then licking their paws. Just make sure that you have a well ventilated space and that you are vacuuming very thoroughly.
