Works well and is easy to clean up. I use this for my ball python, pet rats and as cat litter. Low smell and easier on my feet. Not gravely like cat litter. Also vacumes up easily.

I bought this product about a month and half ago I thought the product was pretty good, my Ring Neck Snakes seemed to like playing in it and my Leopard Geiekos like digging in it. Thought it was wonderful product until I found one of my Ring Neck Snakes apparently choked to death on some that must have went down with a worm. I found him last weekend with it stuck in his mouth. Might not be good for smaller snakes.

I purchased this for my turtle area. The quality of the product was good. However, Petco prices are higher than our local Carters Pet Mart . I wouldn't have purchased except for the 20% off coupon.

yes! my snake loved it because it was a little softer than the typical bedding, aspen so he would dig in it quite frequently. it’s also a little more aesthetically pleasing and a much easier cleanup :)

Depends on what you're housing. If your housing something that doesn't burrow, I'd say 2-3 bags. If it does, 4-6. Also if you have live plants, the 2-3 should offer them enough to get their roots going.
