How can I teach my uninterested rabbit easy tricks without a clicker?

Hi there. Rabbits aren't usually well known for many tricks, but they are usually pretty food motivated. I would find one of her favorite foods and use it to encourage/ teach her to do tricks. Have fun!

Positive reinforcement is the key. Give her a treat when she comes to you and at the same time call her name. Try to do it for 10-15minutes a day. Then gradually you can try not to give her the treat anymore. I'm glad you want to train Felix. Working on tricks can be fun and prevent boredom. You can train him with treats and lots of praise and repetition. I'd start with calling Felix by his name and rewarding when he looks at you. Then call him and give a hand signal and ask him to come. Again reward him if he moves closer to you, eventually getting him to come each time. As for other tricks find something he likes to do like like spinning a wheel and give it a name and reward him when he does it. Then you should be able to ask for the spin and he'll do it on command. You can train Gweith Gray to learn his name. Find a piece of fruit or veggie that your rabbit especially loves. Set aside some time where you can give him undivided attention, and do it in a quiet space. Use the treat to get his attention, and when he looks at you, say his name and give him the treat immediately. You can do this eight to ten times per session, and do a couple of sessions a day. By doing this, he should learn his name relatively quickly. I hope this helps :-)

Try this. Let him see the treat. Then give him the command with no hand signals. He may move through all the tricks that he knows but as soon as he does the correct one, give him the reward and repeat the trick, something like ‘good sit’. Some dogs will not perform a command without a reward. Sometimes this is because they are young or easily distracted. This may change as they get older. Some dogs are so trained with treats that they will not do them without knowing they are going to get one. You can also try it with a piece of kibble in hand so that way he isn't getting anything extra. Some dogs do not play with toys. I would recommend just letting him enjoy the ball that he loves.
