Moving: Can I surrender my guinea pig to Petco or a local shelter?

I am sorry that you cannot keep Ashley. You might start by calling the local animal shelter or animal rescue groups. If they do not take guinea pigs, you can ask them if they have any other groups that they can recommend to you. Hello, Many Petcos will accept surrendered pets. It depends on individual location. Call your local store and if they do not accept surrenders, they should be able to tell you the closest location to you that does. I hope this is helpful. Unfortunately Petco does not accept pets for rehoming, but if you contact your local store they might be able to give you the name of a rescue group near you. The local shelter would be another good resource.
