Does my 3-month-old rabbit really need vitamins or supplements?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | neutered | 2 months and 30 days old | 1.874 lbs

What kind of vitamins/supplements should I feed my rabbit, and how often? He’s 3 months old right now but I’ll just like to know what to get for him now/in the future. Thanks

Hello. Great question!

If you have Marshmallow on a high quality diet you should not need to feed any supplements/vitamins. The majority of the diet should be hay. I recommend Oxbow products:

Oxbow has a lot of good products - treats and other types of hay, etc. Anything you use from them will be good.

Hope this helps. Best wishes.
