Without a hands-on exam it is not possible to recommend a medication. Do not give any antibiotics to your rabbit or any other human medicine. Oral antibiotics are likely to kill the bacteria a rabbit needs for digestion and she will die. Try to find some hay, dry grass. Maybe there is a veterinarian in the next town who can help you.

In the meantime, choose one of the two and discuss ALL the medications and doses that Hunny is on to come up with a safe treatment plan to ensure the best possible outcome.

However, if her appetite and defecation decrease or her behavior is otherwise altered, then that could certainly be a sign of illness. There is definitely something wrong with him, in most cases when a rabbit shows such symptoms quite suddenly it is because of gut stasis, but it could also be other things. you must take him to the vet ASAP, he will need a checkup and a simple blood test to check for stasis/blockage then he can get the proper treatment.

When rabbits start showing signs of being sick then they are usually quite sick, so I would suggest stressing to your mom that your rabbit might be in pain or suffering and needs to see a vet so he doesn't hurt. If she still won't let you take him, then you can try getting 'Critical Care' Food from the petstore and try feeding this, or try mixing up some pineapple juice in some pellets and hay and see if Cosmo will eat this. You can always try calling around clinics to find the least expensive vet, or try calling your local humane society. If your bunny is very sick and seems painful some vets might see you for free for a euthanasia if Cosmo is very very ill. I hope Cosmo feels better soon!

I'm sorry Baby isn't doing well! Unfortunately there is nothing you can give him OTC. Rabbits are very sensitive to medications, and giving him a human one that isn't prescribed by a vet can be fatal. I would keep putting the warm wash cloth on his eye and get him into a vet asap. The eye is such a delicate and important structure that any problem with it should be considered an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss.
