Hello, My rabbit is losing hair and getting thinner. I do let him out if his cage often and he runs around in the back yard, His urine is also reddish in color and large quantities . Should I get him checked by a vet?

I would recommend having Stew checked out by a vet since you are noticing weight and hair loss. My biggest concern for Stew is that he has contracted some type of parasite from being outside. You vet may want to check a fecal sample and/or sample the skin to check for infection.

I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
