This is dependent on where you are taking your guinea pig to get it's nails cut. The cost for a groomer or veterinary office to do it is usually in the $10-$20 range.

I think the best way to find out whether your local PetSmart can clip your guinea pig's nails is to call them and ask. However you can also go to your vet and have the techs show you how it is done properly.

You can try contacting veterinary offices in your area as often they will do nail trims on guinea pigs. You can buy Trimmers at any pet store, but also human toe nail trimmers turned sideways work great too. Make sure you just get the white tips, do not get close to the pink quick. If they have black nails use the white nails as a guide on how far to cut the back ones. You probably don’t need to trim them more than every 2 months or so.
