Just got a guinea pig. Does she need a vet visit if she's healthy?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Unknown - Small Animal | Female | unspayed

the place i got my guinea pig from said that i should take her in to a vet within 14 days of getting her. she seems perfectly fine so do i need to take her in

Hi there. It's always a good idea to have a wellness check done by your veterinarian with any new pet, because she could have problems that aren't obvious at first glance. This may also be a requirement if she came with any kind of health guarantee. So yes, I would recommend taking her in for a check-up :)
