Pet's info: Small Animal | Guinea Pig | Male | unneutered
Please help! I just came home today to see the pigs outside and found one of my little guinea pig's eye seems to be super cloudy and he doesn't seem to be able to see through it. This morning he seemed completely fine and healthy but at the moment he seems a little shy with sudden movements which he usually never has a worry in the world about (though he is quite old). If you could help me figure out what's wrong or how I can't help him I would appreciate it so much! Thank you

Thanks for reaching out about Ralphie. A red cornea is not normal and a veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Corneal trauma or infections, perforations and other problems are of concern. A corneal perforation can progress to something more serious if not addressed appropriately. Monitor appetite and comfort level.
Good luck.
