My guinea pig has this scab looking bump on his back, is their something wrong?(you can’t see in the photo but it is a bump)

Thanks for reaching out about Toby and including photos. Dermal cysts, skin abscesses and benign tumors (trichofolliculoma) are very common in guinea pigs. A veterinary visit is recommended, but these are rarely emergencies. But is the abscess, cyst or tumor ruptures, secondary problems can develop.
