Why is my female mouse bleeding from a red growth on her genitals?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Unknown - Small Animal | Female | unspayed

I recently bought two female mice, and just today I've noticed one of them has a red growth or something on her genitals and I saw that some blood rubbed off onto the bedding as she walked around. I was just wondering what this could be and what i need to do to help her.(i tried to upload a picture but i don't know if it worked, so I'm sorry if it didn't)

It sounds like this could be a prolapse. I suggest you get her to a vet for an exam.
