My bunny has diarrhea but is active. Is it an emergency?

My bunny has minor diarrhoea since 2 hours but he is active. I have taken away his food and have been giving him hay and water. He is 2 years old

Diahrrea is a serious symptom in rabbits, i strongly recommend taking him to the vet ASAP in order to get it checked and treated, he will need several medications to help stopping the diarrhea that is probably caused by a gastrointestinal infection.
