Why is my bunny breathing fast for a week, even when it's cool?

Hello, sorry to hear about Binky. There could be a variety of reasons why he is doing this. My biggest concern is that he could have an underlying heart disease or an upper respiratory infection. I would have Thumper seen by a vet. It could be something as simple as a respiratory infection causing her loud breathing, which can be treated. Clover is a sweet name. Unfortunately the information you provided is a little limited and makes it hard to guide you. I would recommend having her spayed if you have not all ready. Rabbits run a high risk of cancer in their uterus if not spayed. However at this time if she is eating,drinking and using the restroom normally I would not be concerned. Rabbits can become sick quickly with upper respiratory infections. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. In the meantime make sure his cage is cleaned daily as the ammonia from the urine can cause irritation to the respiratory tract.
