Baby squirrel lost teeth and seems sick. Should I take it to a vet?

I'm afraid that there could be something wrong with Austin, earlier today his top two teeth came out(there was some blood) I read online that he could lose his appetite because of this. I would like to take him to a doctor or maybe receive some guidance. when I found him he was very weak, dehydrated, and small. He has become stronger. I still stimulate him and feed him regularly, he has started using the bathroom on his own. My concern: normal breathing? milk in lungs? normal sleeping schedule?

I would strongly recommend trying to find a wildlife rehabilitator are in your area that can take Austin. In most areas it is illegal to keep wildlife is pets without special permit. And that's because it's difficult to keep them healthy and thriving, baby squirrels tend not to do very well race singly they should be kept with a group of babies of similar age. If he was not born in captivity but was a wild squirrel you attempted to raise he may have parasites or be dealing with malnutrition if he was not on an approriate formula. I would search for an exotics specialist asap. They may want to test for parasites and may be able to offer a critical formula that he can be syringe fed. Good luck.

Hello, I would recommend taking Chip into a veterinarian as soon as possible. Dull behavior, weight loss, and vomiting are signs of serious disease. I worry that cancer or organ failure is possible. I am sorry to hear about Potol. It sounds like he is in need of urgent veterinary care. If he is weak and not eating he is likely very dehydrated and may need aggressive supportive care such as fluids given under the skin on via a vein. The vet will need to examine him and get a history to try to determine why he is not eating to address the underlying problem.
