Ho I have a short neck murray river turtle I noticed today when i got him out to clean tank he has some yellowish stuff on his belly side of its shell What could this be and how do i treat it

A reddened shell can be due to trauma, but it can also be due to infections in the body, called sepsis. I think that you mentioned previously that you had been to a veterinarian recently - I would recommend that you contact them, and see if they would be willing to fill a course of antibiotics for you. This would incur a cost, but if they have seen Cooper recently, they may not require an exam for this, so that would save you some money. However, I don’t know if they would feel comfortable in doing this, so you would need to ask them.
Otherwise, please ensure that the husbandry and water quality are as good as possible, because contaminated water can have excessive amounts of bacteria which can lead to infections.
