Is Gorilla silicone safe for bearded dragon tanks? What's a safe option?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Hi I just recently tiled my bearded tank using gorilla silicone adhesive. But I recently read that was bad. Would you recommend a better silicone?

A silicone adhesive/sealant specifically for aquaria would be best. These are strong, durable and fish/reptile safe. You can find it in most home improvement stores.
GE SCS1200 silicone is also reptile safe once cured/dried. It can also be found in home improvement stores and hardware stores.
