The white spot on your Veiled Chameleon's casque looks to be shedding skin that has not come off yet. Mist him with warm water to aid in shedding. It is common for lizards to lose toes. What likely happened was some shedding skin did not come off properly and restricted blood flow to the digit resulting in the loss. As long as it is healed up, there is no cause for concern. The darkening of his colors may indicate stress. Survey the area in and around the enclosure for any negative stimuli. This may include loud noises, strong vibrations, bright lights or cold drafts. He looks healthy, but looks can be deceiving. Chameleons are very active to begin with, plus being in a new environment may be stressful for him. You can feed 5-7 crickets at each feeding. Gut load them for 24 hours prior to offering to maximize nutritional value. You can also offer dubia roaches, wax worms and butter worms. All prey should be no larger than the space between the eyes.

Are you sure he isn't going into a shedding period? Confirm proper environmental parameters, especially heat and UVB lighting. Low temps may cause stress which could cause him to become dull. Thanks for reaching out about the chameleon and including pictures. The first photo with the swayed back is very suspect of MBD/calcium deficiency. Diet and husbandry need to be review and correct, and a veterinary visit should be scheduled ASAP. Typically concerns are poor calcium in the diet, lac of UV light, poor temperature, etc. This is an emergency. Good luck.

Depending on the species and environment, the yellow may be normal coloring. Monitor for lethargy, decreased appetite or loose droppings. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles.
