Why is my Oscar fish gasping and hiding during ich treatment?

hello i am treating my 75 gallon tank for ick for the 9th day my temp is at 83 degrees i just notice one of my Oscar fish constantly opening and closing his mouth and hanging in a cave at the bottom not moving around the tank as usual is this a cause for concern? thanks also he ate one of my tetras this morning

Add an airstone or two or a bubblewand. Either will increase oxygenation. Warm water does not hold as much oxygen and cool water, so it could be stressing your Oscar.
As long as he can fit the Tetras, or other tank mates, in his mouth, he will likely continue to eat them.
