Hi, I just tested my betta tanks water & his ph is good sitting at 7.5. But my alkalinity & water hardness are both very high at 720 ppm (alkalinity) & 300 ppm (hardness). i’m just curious if i should be concerned since my ph is normal

Thanks for reaching out about Snow. Chronic high alkalinity and hardness can expose to fish to high levels of minerals that could lead to abnormal mineralization/calcification of gills and other orders. Test your tap water and if also high, which is expected, than bottled water might be in order.
Good luck.
