My young dog is pregnant. Is it safe? Will she stop growing?

Pregnancy always carries a certain risk of complications and in a growing puppy they are more at risk of getting low blood sugar, or low blood calcium. These can both cause serious problems and be life-threatening in certain circumstances. This could also cause some orthopedic problems in Wrigley. If it is early pregnancy, she can be spayed. Some vets may also carry medication to abort the pregnancy. Having a litter prior to physical maturity can permanently stunt the growth. He may also see issues with the bitch being too immature to care for the puppies. It's not likely she will face complications during pregnancy but because she is very young she may not be a very good mother so you may face a situation where you will need to take care of the puppies if she doesn't.

Bella's puppies are beautiful! A dog's pregnancy can be between 58-68 days, so even if they came around the 60 day mark, they will be fine. As long as they are nursing and gaining weight daily, everything should be ok :-)

Yes she will but i do not recommend it, at her age she is at high risk of pregnancy complication as well as mammary gland tumors, instead of getting her pregnant i strongly recommend that you have her spayed.
