my 13 year old yorkie has a terrible odor, even after a bath, she has had diarrhea & vomiting off &on with bright red blood in both, this will stop for several days then start again, tested neg for parasites and and put on prilosec but she is still having same problems after a month of prilosec, could this odor and the vomiting, diarrhea and blood be related?

Softer stool and mucus could indicate something underlying or some GI upset. You can try to add in a little boiled chicken and rice to Bailey's diet to help settle minor stomach upset. If the problem persists, bringing in a sample of her stool to your vet when he returns to check for parasites and other common issues is best. If you see any major changes such as vomiting, diarrhea, bloody or discolored stool or vomit, abdominal pain, etc, then seeking veterinary care sooner with another vet or ER doc is best.
