Is VēRUS adult maintenance lamb dog food truly healthy for my pet?

Great question! Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. They all are high quality foods that have a senior line of food. I would chose of those brands for Coco. I hope this helps!

Unfortunately an ingredient list can be misleading, and I recommend sticking to foods that follow WSAVA nutrition guidelines. I am so glad to help you! In my opinion, the best choice is a commercial kibble like Royal Canin. Royal Canin does have veterinary nutritionists on staff. I'd also recommend Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro Plan, and Iams. They also have veterinary nutritionists. I personally feed my dog Iams.

There are only three pet food brands which are approved by veterinarians. These are science diet, royal canin and purina pro plan. Only these three Have undergone research to ensure they provide an adequate and nutritious diet for pets. This research is approved by veterinarians. Any other food brands may not be regulated or researched as thoroughly. For this reason I would only advise feeding one of those three. If a food has many ingredients which I don't recognise I am concerned about tHe quality of the food.
