Why is my unspayed senior dog suddenly falling down and unbalanced?

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | unspayed | 11 years and 1 month old

My female dog aged 12 years is very active and playful.. she has recently over her heating period but i noticed some symptoms like she starred at me continously for a long time and licking her vagina so many times and now suddenly when she seems to b perfectly fine...she falls down so many times like she is drunk and couldnt manage to stand or balance properly.. i check her everywhere.that is there anythng bt couldnt find anythng she seems completely normal again.i dont knw what is this.help me

I would recommend that you have Sweety examined by a vet. Unspayed older dogs are at risk for developing a life-threatening infection in the uterus. Other possible causes for ataxia (walking drunk) are vestibular syndrome, ear infection, body infection, kidney or liver disease, etc. The vet will do a thorough physical and neurologic exam and may recommend blood work to see what could be going on.
