Is sucralose in Crananidin safe for dogs, or should I use another product?

She should be fine but it could cause some vomiting or diarrhea. Watch her closely. If you notice anything abnormal, take her to the vet for an exam. Sucralose wont cause the low glucose like xylitol will so that's good news!

Maltitol is not toxic to dogs like some other artificial sweeteners (such as xylitol), but it can sometimes cause GI upset or diarrhea in some dogs. So if possible, it would be better to use a treat that doesn't contain any artificial sweeteners at all. Many dogs enjoy cooked carrots or green beans, or small pieces of chicken or roast beef as treats. If you do opt to give Pepper the cookies, I would limit it to a small amount very occasionally to minimize the risk of upsetting her stomach.

Luckily none of these ingredients are toxic. Xylitol is the only artificial sugar that causes toxicity. Ingesting a large amount of an artificial sugar could cause some stomach upset but I doubt you will see any symptoms if a small amount was ingested.

You may see some stomach upset. This may include vomiting, diarrhea or loss of appetite. This can usually be managed at home with a 12-24 hour fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. If symptoms persist, see your veterinarian.

This product is safe and effective. Cinnamon and clove, when used appropriately, are safe in dogs. The essential oils of cinnamon and clove by themselves, however, can be very irritating to dogs when not used, diluted or prepared properly. As grapes and raisins are toxic to most dogs, and a cause has not been established yet, I would not give anything with grape ingredients. So personally I would not recommend this gel. If you want to give your dog a treat, boiled carrot pieces, green beans are great and healthy, and and if you want to give a commercial dental treat, Greenies are recommended.
