My dog gets the hiccups every night and it's not because he is eating to fast. So what can I do to help him stop getting hiccups?

What a sweet face!! Unfortunately there’s not really much you can do, but the good news is that hiccups are harmless. You can try using a raised food and bowl, but this may not help much.
Sorry I don’t have a solution, but the good news is that hiccups aren’t a health problem.
Thanks for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Sara!

Hiccups are some what normal in puppies and they out grow them. I don't see adult dogs get hiccups. If she isn't drinking or eating to fast it can be from being tired, excitement or even stress. You can massage her belly or take her for a quick light walk outside to try and relax the spasming diaphragm. Most dogs are not bothered too much by hiccups.

    I wish you the best!
