My senior dog is vomiting, crying, stomach pain. No vet nearby, help!

Since Timberblynn is an older girl, I would be worried about the possibility of some type of cancer causing her clinical signs. She may have a mass causing enlargement of one or many of her abdominal organs, such as her liver, and leading to her feeling sick and vomiting. I recommend making an appointment with your veterinarian to have her seen. Your vet can perform an exam and see if he/she can palpate any masses or organ abnormalities. Your vet may also recommend bloodwork and/or imaging to see any changes in her abdomen. In the meantime, you can try offering her a bland diet suck as boiled chicken and rice, however I feel strongly that she should see your veterinarian. I hope this is helpful!

Poor pup! From your description, it sounds like something is seriously wrong. Trouble walking could be caused by arthritis, a neurologic problem like a stroke or herniated disc in the spine, or generalized weakness due to a severe illness of some kind. A bloated abdomen can be caused by GDV (gastric dilatation volvulus, or "bloat"), which is a life-threatening condition where the stomach fills with air and twists on itself; other possible causes would include congestive heart failure, an abdominal tumor, liver failure, or internal bleeding. These signs are indicative of a severe, possibly life-threatening problem that needs immediate veterinary care, so I would recommend taking your dog to an emergency vet right away. He/she can do blood work and x-rays if needed to help diagnose the problem and see what can be done to help her.

It sounds as Bell is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

Poor Chika sounds very ill! If she has been throwing up for the past three days, doesn't want to walk, and is very lethargic, she needs to see a vet right away. She could have a foreign body, severe GI illness, pancreatitis, or even cancer (which is unfortunately common in older dogs). The vet can do a physical exam, routine blood tests, a urinalysis, and possibly x-rays to diagnose what is causing her symptoms and can treat accordingly. Please take her into an ER vet now.

Check the color of her gums. They should be pink. If they are pale or white, you should seek veterinary attention immediately. If she is a large or deep chested breed , monitor for [bloating](https://www.petcoach.co/article/bloat-gastric-dilatation-and-volvulus-in-dogs) or unsuccessful attempts to vomit. See your regular veterinarian when they open or go to the nearest veterinary ER if symptoms worsen overnight.

If there is any abdominal enlargement or pain he needs to be assessed by a vet as an emergency - non-productive/white foamy vomit is very concerning in a dog which is eating as it can indicate an obstruction. A pancreatitis blood test may also be required depending on the results of the physical exam

EThanks for visitng Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I am sorry to hear that your pet Simone is ill and in pain. These symptoms are highly suggestive of a condition called pancreatitis. This is a spontaneous inflammation of the pancreas that causes pain when palpating the belly, vomiting, decreased appetite, lethargy and often loose stool with some blood. I would highly recommend taking her in to your local vet right away for testing and treatment. The vet will need to run bloodwork and a pancreatitis test. Other possible causes are a musculoskeletal injury, kidney infection or liver problem. Poor girl. I would take her in as soon as possible so that we know how to move forward and get herbfeeling better quickly. It’s best to feed her small portions of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese since smaller portions typically don’t cause as much nausea.
