My senior dog's back legs are unsteady after being sick. Is it age?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 15 years and 2 months old

My dog is 15 yrs old , was sick on Saturday evening & had bowel movement , since then we have noticed her back legs don't seem to be very steady , she seems fine in herself , cold wet nose jumping on off furniture, eating drinking fine , toilet movement all fine , is it just old age?

No, it is not just old age, it is a medical condition, because of the vomiting on Saturday i would suspect an internal condition, possibly a tumor, you need to take her to the vet ASAP in order to get it checked.
