Bulldogs tend to have arthritis issues in their old age, because of the way their body is structured. This may explain why she would want to lay around more and why she is walking slowly.
There could also be some type of organ disease, infection or even cancer that can make her feel bad; so it's best to have a veterinarian evaluate her. If it is arthritis, then she can be put on medication that would make her feel much better. If it's something more serious, then it's best to diagnose it as early as possible in order to have the best success at treatment.
I hope that helps and Missy feels better soon.
