My puppy has yellow diarrhea after treatment. What should I do?

I would make sure to do that to confirm whether the worms were completely treated or not. Ongoing worms may be a cause of persistent diarrhea. I would recommend having Riku re-assessed by the vet within the next 24 hours if her diarrhea has not stopped by then. In the meantime, I would continue offering small frequent meals of boiled chicken and plain white rice. This may help to clear our her digestive tract. If tylan is not effective in the next 4 days I would recommend to switch to metronidazole and give panacur (commercial name of the worming treatment) to make sure any kind of parasite and bacteria infections are covered. Poor Chaw! Unfortunately it's impossible to know the cause of the diarrhea by looks alone. The diarrhea could be due to many conditions including a change in diet, bacterial over growth, parasites or other even parvovirus. Chaw is very small and I recommend to have her examined by the veterinarian today. Small puppies can become very sick very fast and so need aggressive, early intervention. Make sure to bring in a sample of fresh stool. The doctor will check her for parasites and bacterial over growth. Many times a bland diet can help and then a slow, gradual introduction to the normal food can be done. A good diet in general is Royal Canin. It is low residue and highly digestible. If it was done on his first visit, it may be repeated or additional tests recommended. Depending on his results, medication will likely be prescribed. Hi, some dogs have sensitive stomachs. If she had a new treat, this is likely the cause. Feeding her some boiled chicken and rice for her meals for about three days should clear it up. If it continues, I would take her to a vet to be check for parasites or a food intolerance. I hope she gets better!
