Puppy vomited once, black poop. Could it be parvo? Is it fatal?

Oscar vomits one time in a day and has black poop. What it means. Is this can be dangerous to his life because my previous puppy died like this.

I hope your puppy gets well soon and does not meet the same fate as your other poop puppy.
If your pup does well, then make it a point to get Oscar vaccinated soon to protect him from deadly viruses like parvovirus and others, which are totally preventable through regular immunizations. Best wishes!

Poor Oscar! I see you have posted a number of times about him and his symptoms, and each vet that has answered you has told you to take him into a vet immediately. His symptoms are very serious given his age, and he needs veterinary attention now. He will likely get sick the longer you delay getting him veterinary care, so please take him into a vet now.

Without seeing Paris and know what the vet is treating for and what medications she has had it is very hard to say. Black stools can sometimes be a sign of digested blood, but sometimes the color change is from medications the pet is on. If there was a viral infection and there is a possibility of blood in the stool, I would be concerned for parvovirus. If that is the case, this is a disease process where you are treating the symptoms- like vomiting and diarrhea- and waiting for the intestinal tract to repair itself. That can take up to 14 days. If she was diagnosed with Parvo and she is not eating or drinking, I would recommend going back to the vet for IV fluids and nutrition. There is a parvovirus vaccine, but she needs to be healthy before receiving it. In the meantime, I would keep her away from all other dogs until she is healthy. Good luck and kisses to Paris!

Poor Rocky. Sometimes poops can smell a lot, I'd be concerned about parvo if he had diarrhea and blood in it. The vomiting could be caused by a GI illness. Feed him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, refuses to eat the black diet, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.
