My puppy shows UTI symptoms with blood. What can I do without a vet?

It absolutely could be a bladder infection, and although they tend to be a bit unusual in puppies they can happen. Testing is relatively straightforward including typically a urinalysis will make the diagnosis but often the vet will recommend a urine culture to ensure that the appropriate antibiotic is being used. At 3 months of age I would also consider some imaging (x-rays with contrast or ultrasound) to rule out congenital (present from birth) anatomical issues that could be contributing to urinary issues.

The only treatment that can give her any relief is an antibiotic treatment, which will also solve the problem, but you will need to take her to a veterinary clinic or ER in order to get this treatment.

If you can't get her in any sooner than Monday and can't call them to ask for advice or to move up the appointment and she still seems otherwise okay, get her seen Monday. If she does start feeling sick or has trouble urinating, take her to an emergency clinic, just understand that at any vet right now the wait may be long unless she is an emergency and in very bad shape. I don't know of any products you can buy over the counter that will help, and using OTC products could actually mask symptoms that could help lead to a faster diagnosis when she does get to her appointment.

If she appears otherwise healthy and happy, eats and drinks plenty, you can wait until Monday morning. If she appears lethargic, ill or distressed, or if the urine appears very bloody, then she should be seen by a vet ASAP. Feed her wet/canned food, add water to it, and make sure she drinks a lot of water to help flush the bladder.

Poor Rosie! I agree, this definitely sounds suspicious for a UTI. Unfortunately, this is not something you can treat yourself at home - she will need antibiotics from your vet to treat the infection. I would recommend taking her in tomorrow for an exam. Your veterinarian can do a urinalysis to confirm whether or not she has a UTI, and will prescribe an appropriate antibiotic to treat it if needed.

Urinating blood can be caused by a variety of issues including urinary tract infection, bladder stones, bladder tumors, prostatic issues in male dogs, trauma, bleeding disorders, and more. An examination is needed to determine the underlying cause and start treatment. Testing the urine and an x-ray may be recommended to find the cause of the blood in the urine. If Pursi becomes lethargic, starts vomiting, or is unable to urinate then this would be considered a medical emergency and urgent care should be sought.
