Why is my 8-month puppy tired, skinny, sick, and has bad breath?

It is not normal for a young dog to not be eating and vomit. I recommend making an appointment with Maxx's vet for a physical exam and maybe check his stool for parasites. He may need some medications and fluids to prevent dehydration. Kisses for Maxx, I hope he feels better soon!

I am sorry to hear that Maximus isn’t feeling well. With the abnormal eating and new snoring then I would be worried that he could be developing an abscess in the back of his throat. I have seen this many times after they chew on sticks or other objects. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. I can't fully understand your post but I think you are saying that Max is lethargic and isn't eating. That he is holding down water. Is he vomiting too? From your pictures his gums do look a little less pink then they should. If he is anemic (low red blood cells) then that can be serious. Causes could be blood loss from a tumor inside his belly, infectious causes like tick borne diseases, immune conditions or other types of cancer. There are many causes for lethargy and not eating: blockage, cancer, kidney or liver failure, viral diseases, etc. I would have him seen by your Vet for an exam. I wish you and Max the very best!

Poor Ellie! This could be from teething or just a little tired if she didn’t sleep well or played too hard yesterday. It could also be due to certain viruses or parasites. Usually you would see other signs like loose stool or not eating but not always. If she continues to be lethargic I would have your vet take a look at her Your vet will be able to do a fecal and even blood work to ensure everything is okay. They will be able to give her some meds if needed. I hope this helps!

Poor Max! While the shock of travel could definitely be making him feel unwell, if he isn't recovering after a few hours, or is absolutely refusing to eat/drink and is completely lethargic, I would bring him to a vet ASAP. It is possible he may be ill or may have been injured/become ill during his travels, so a veterinary exam is best to figure out the cause.

Poor Max! The problem is that he cannot talk tell you why this is happening. It sounds like he is experiencing a multitude of problems. Additionally, the abnormal breathing could indicate a serious health condition. I recommend to have Max examined by his veterinarian today to start figuring out what is wrong. Only a physical examine can start to narrow down the reasons. Bring in a fresh stool sample as well in case the doctor wants to test for parasites. It seems as Max is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
