Puppy tick bite bleeding: How to protect my dog from ticks and fleas?

My puppy dog got infected by biting of tick and der is bleeding coming out he is infected near tail portion how to protect from ticks n fleas and can i bath me after getting infected i m the first doog owner pls let me knw all about ticks thank you

Ticks can cause infection if their mouth is left behind when removed, this causes a local reaction. There are also some tick bourne diseases that ticks carry, but hese are quite rare. I recommend using a product such as frontline or nexgaurd or advocate to protect against ticks. And use a special tick remober to disattach any on the dog.
