Hello! For tear staining in Bichon Frises and other white-coated breeds, there is a product called Angel Eyes that works quite well for many dogs - it's given as a daily chewable treat, and can be ordered online from most pet supply companies.

For fleas and ticks, I would recommend Nexgard as the most effective option currently available - it's an oral chewable treat that's given once a month. You will need to get a prescription for this medication from your vet, but it's much more effective than any of the over-the-counter topical "flea drops." Nexgard can be used in puppies as young as 8 weeks, with a minimum weight of 4 pounds. If your puppy is still a bit smaller than this, you could use a topical such as K9 Advantix in the meantime.
