My puppy's leg is swollen, he's throwing up, won't eat, and cries.

Unfortunately, this sounds like the puppy is very injured and ill and needs to be seen by a vet ASAP. If there is not a vet in your town, looking the next town over, or seeing if there is a local animal shelter or humane society that can take him in is best. Until you can find a vet or person to take him in for care, keeping him calm and quiet can help, however he needs to be seen in person ASAP.

Poor Nico! Nico needs to see his veterinarian today. A swollen leg could indicate infection, a soft tissue injury or even something like a fractured bone. Not eating for 3 days is serious for a puppy. They are not able to regulate blood sugar like an adult and they don't have the same reserves either. The swollen belly could be related and could indicate parasites, a blockage, an infection or a heart condition. I recommend to have your puppy examined today by the veterinarian. You need to get your dog to a veterinarian right away. Something serious is going on causing this dramatic of a change in her behavior and appearance. This could be a sign of a serious infection, systemic disease, or cancer.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Hallie! She is possibly not eating due to pain associated with the injury which often times can affect a dog's appetite. Of course other unrelated causes for her not to eat cannot be completely excluded. With these types of injuries, there is usually more trauma than what can be seen from the outside. I recommend that you have Hallie evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They may take radiographs to check her bones in the affected leg. They would be able to check the extent of her injuries and proceed with therapy as indicated. She may require antibiotics, further local wound therapy and pain control medications. Poor Clyde sounds so ill! He could have parvovirus, a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, or could have a foreign body. I would consider his symptoms a medical emergency, and he needs to see a vet now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.
