My puppy is scratching and unwell. What home remedies can I try?

Pet's info: Dog | Lhasa Apso | Female | 2 months and 13 days old | 1.35 lbs

My puppy is scratching since morning and now feeling low. What can i do at home. Any remedy available? I cannit visit vet right now.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I'm sorry to hear Fluffy is having skin issues. I would check to see if Fluffy has any fleas or ticks in her fur that could be contributing to her behavior. I would also see if she has any sores or lesions. If she does, I would recommend she be evaluated by her regular veterinarian, as she may need antibiotics if her skin is infected. In the meantime, I would bathe her in a gentle dishwasher soap (such as Dawn), ensure you remove all soap from her fur while rinsing her, and gently dry her to see if that helps. Good luck!

    You can give Coco an oatmeal bath to help soothe her skin. Take a cup of oatmeal, and put it in the blender to make a fine powder. Then add it to a warm bath. That should help temporarily. Have her seen by a vet in the morning to diagnose and treat the cause of the itching.
