It typically takes anywhere from 24-48 hours for a dewormer to take effect. Don't be alarmed if you see dead worms in Finn's feces, it means the deworming treatment is working. It will usually take two deworming treatments for all the worms to be killed. The first kills the adults already present, while the second kills the worms that had not yet hatched at the time of the first treatment.

He will get rid of the worms and you will see them in the feces later. The medications take 4 hours at least to reach right concentration in the blood stream and spread all around effectively.
