My puppy is almost 5 months old and so she still puts everything in her mouth. When she finds something on the floor that she knows she shouldn't have, she bolts away from the closest person she sees. It's quite the cute playful puppy thing to do but I was just wondering if there are training methods/tricks I can start with her for her to stop this? I know she's just a mischievous puppy now but I don't want her choking or accidentally swallowing it while trying to run away from us.

The best way is to trade her for something better. A high value treat, like a piece of hot dog, or a toy she loves. Basically when you give her something she can have she gets praised for dropping what she can't have. Tell her drop it again and good girl when she does. Good luck and kisses to Koi!
